Unable to send email while connected to VyprVPN

In order to circumvent rising amounts of email spam activity being performed over our network, we have enabled a block on SMTP port 25 for VyprVPN connections. We have made exceptions for authenticated email providers, such as Gmail and Yahoo.

If you are connecting to VyprVPN and find you cannot send email with your client software, and are not using an authenticated email provider, then it is likely you are impacted by this port block. To remedy this issue, you can change the SMTP port in your email client from the default of 25 to 587. This is done in the account preferences section for the affected account in your email client. If you aren’t familiar with how to change that setting, please consult the support knowledge base for your email client software.
